Jacob ended up raising $600 thanks to the contribution of many friends. And a big thanks to Auntie Melissa for contributing $100.
At the end, I purchased : 18 basketballs 30 jelly balls 18 soccer balls 18 hula hoops 36 jump ropes which were distributed to each classroom.
Mr Funcheon announced to the kids that their classrooms would each receive these items, and as he showed each item and handed them to Jacob to hold at an assembly, the kids roared !
ASIC verification engineer, mom to a little jedi and a little princess and wife to an engineer-turned-builder, who's a hypochondriac, and neurotic at times, gets energized by being with friends or eating, or even better, eating with friends, and by playing volleyball.
